I was just about to demonstrate how the carbide cutter is removed and inserted into the tool when I discover that one of the metal pins was missing and the hole was jagged suggesting that it broke while trying to do its job.

I can send you a picture of the damaged flex tool to show you the problem and would be willing to mail you the tool. I would like to have a replacement. Meanwhile I am using the parting tool and I am impressed on how ell it performs its duty.
