This router combined with the Kreg bench top router table has worked out so well for me I sold my 1 1/2 hp Shaper last summer!! This is so much easier and convenient to set up as opposed to the shaper. I get much better results especially when using my cabinet door bits/5. I did not want to spend the extra money on a lift system or have to work under the table to change bits or do height adjustment. I am very happy with this system. The rack and pinion adjustment system works perfect and bit changes are a snap. The router itself has crazy power and chip extraction is excellent/5.
