This would most likely result in the hole being drilled too deep, and the screw potentially pushing right through the joint. We would recommend using 16mm timber or larger to achieve the best joints.

Would this version, the mm, be suitable for jointing mm wide furniture board or would the mm version be better seeing though it is wider and has support clamps. The mm version would be better for a workpiece of this size.
