The Erbauer should be fine and it has quick release which is useful. I've been using some of those blades which I bought when on offer - they fit my Milwaukee and Fein machines.
You'll find them a bit slow but they'll do the job - they're a decent multipurpose blade. You're about to find out that it's the blades not the machine that cost the money but they're such a versatile but of kit. They'll only cut it the workpiece is secured. If it can move about it just goes backwards and forwards with the blade - noisily. That's another thing - ear defenders required. Thanks all. That's all useful info to digest! Ive just used my multi on a floor job, be careful not to hit the concrete too much as you'll see some sparks I decided go with an 18v bare maki as I've already got a drill with the battery, although battery does drain it has been worth its weight in gold for portability.
Not-a-Decor8r , Jun 23, WillyEckerslike , Jun 23, Seems to be a versatile bit of kit for the kind of jobs where other tools just don't quite cut it! See what I did there? Had Fein for over 15yrs now , brilliant tool and when it eventually dies I will definitely replace it with another Fein. Top quality. Shytot , Jun 23, WillyEckerslike likes this. Thanks you all for your input folks While the last three posts were made I was out making the purchase!
I bought the erbauer, the extra blades I linked to, and a single bosch "hardwood" blade Since getting home I've tried using it, with one of the free included blades It works a treat I've managed this far to get most things done without it, but I suspect it will come in useful for other things so I think it will prove a worthwhile purchase!
Thanks again. You may find that after a while your fingers and wrist may start to ache with the vibration. You may want to consider one of the micro circular saw, not quite as versatile as a multi cutter but will do the job a lot quicker and you can set the depth to just cut the boards.

After due consideration and reading reviews buy this great little machine. Two days later and a 10 foot by 8 foot shed is mostly cut into 4 foot long boards as is most of the framing. Fortunately already had 2 x 3. Definitely recommend and wish I bought sooner.
