Just saying SilverFox Scout. I use wood gouges, silky Pumpkin Carving Kit Nz Ltd saw ,a opinel knife 8 and a Mora. The key is good quality and sharp tools be it knife or gouge. Also agree, get the best you can afford. My wood gouges are an antique Miller Carving tool set.
