The only thing I can think of for the radial arm saw is that the shaft on the otherside of the motor has a threaded hole on it? as if something might screw into it, maybe to hold it in place whilst changing the blade? or maybe not, it may have a completely different use. So I would be grateful for any advice or ways in which I might best secure the blade/motor shaft whilst I undo the nut holding the blade on????.
