To that end, our members and volunteers teach classes, hold unique educational events and collaborate on cool projects. Dallas Makerspace members enjoy the Holiday festivities of October, November, and December by creating some of the coolest things!

In this highlight we showcase individually addressable LED projects, blacksmithing projects which produce camping gear, decorations for the Yuletide, Ceramic Despite the heat in Texas, Dallas Makerspace members continue to amaze! We cater to everyone from the individuals wanting custom made projects, all the way to professionals that just need access to our vast selection of tools, machine and space. It is also our hope to provide our youth with a creative environment and the discipline that comes from woodworking, as well as an avenue to learn the necessary skills to get into professions that are rapidly lacking qualified experts and spark a love of woodworking in general.

What better way to involve our youth than to work with the local school districts to provide programs that introduce them to the various professions that woodworking can lead to.
