They zero themselves when trying to take measurements. One person found this helpful. This item did not function properly. The battery that it came with was completely dead. After replacing the battery the product turned on. However, the measurements were completely inaccurate. I tried multiple times to reset it and every time got a different measurement. I had to pay to return the item and still have not gotten a refund. I would definitely not buy this measuring tape.

It does not work and you have to pay to return it and you won't get your money back! I am disappointed with this product. The tape measure does not pull out or retract easily. Once placed on the body part one wishes to measure, it won't retract or the toggle that creates the "loop" doesn't stay in place.

I'm probably going to throw it out and just use a regular tape measure. El precio lo considero justo.
