Item Length String: I love Starrett products in general, and have used many of their blades over the years, but these Intenss Pro-Die blades gave me nothing but problems.

I went through three of these blades over a month period on my horizontal bandsaw. One was purchased here on Amazon, the other two were purchased through a major industrial supply shop. The welds were poor on all of them; one of the welds was crooked and caused the blade to not track properly so that blade got returned. The welds on the other two blades were ground very poorly, which resulted in that distinct "clunk-clunk" as it passed through the work.

It's not uncommon for bandsaw welds to make a little noise, but these were way out of spec. Adding to the problems, I was getting chipped teeth on the blades very early on. I make a habit of inspecting my blades after every few cuts and that's when I noticed the chipped teeth.
