Use washers so the bolt does not pull through if you have a plywood top. Assuming you use a 1" piece of wood for the face of the vise, you will need four 12 1" flat head screws. You will also need to order the 17E46 small vise handle or equivalent. Overall, unit looks very solid and the price compared to other vendors a very good buy.

The part comes generously coated in machine oil to protect it from rust. The screw was slightly curved but it doesn't affect operation at all. Certainly not worth me removing it.
