As for my experience, I had to shim under the arms that hold the saw to the guide to accomodate my thicker saw plate. Aligning the tracks was simple. Would have preferred to have set screws that tighten with allen key.

The phillips style is too easy to strip even with the right tip. You have to trim the guide strips with your saw to get an edge you can use to setup your cuts. The strips are a soft plastic vinyl? Cleaning up the mess was most of the set up for me.

The edges of some of the plastic parts are quite sharp, especially the end cap of the tracks. As for how it works, it does the task it is intended to do. Cut quality will still depend on user ability and condition of your saw and blade. So going forward it will do what I need it to. I am just disappointed in some of the design details. A Albert B.

Take some time and set it up right and it will produce an accurate cut. This is not a production tool it is a tool that makes it so I can build cabinets without a cabinet saw or all the room that takes.
