My only gripe was when I first look at this it said prime and Craftsman 10 radial arm saw with lasertrac was charged shipping and when I went back prime was gone.
As for the saw I think they brought this down from wood workers heaven. Set was a little difficult I tried to do the man thing and instructions I don't need no stinking instructions.
I would have better off buying it direct from sears and probably would have if I didn't think i was buying it prime. We received the unit and it took 2 days to assemble, we then found that the saw did not cut in a straight line, after another days of trying multiple adjustments as described in the booklet we found that the unit was faulty.
We contacted the seller and they advised us to contact Sears. Sears said that the unity was not covered under the warranty because they did not sell it to us. We said OK let the engineer come. The engineer arrived 3 weeks later and said the unity was faulty and it needed to be replaced but as it was not sold by Sears they could do nothing.
I contacted Amazon who agreed for it to be returned. I have had my current RA saw for about Craftsman 10 Radial Arm Saw With Lasertrac Test 7 years now and have had to change the bevel gear on the column a couple times since new gear is plastic. I recently went to re-order it again and found it is no longer available from sears parts or from third parties. Sears parts said I needed to contact the manufacturer. I then checked the parts manual for the current saw being sold and it is the same part as used on my 7 year old saw.
I contacted sears about this and received no response. I wrote a review on the craftsman website, and they never posted it. So, if you want to waste a large chunk of change on a tool that will wear out quickly and you will not be able to repair, don't say you were no warned.
The sad part is that I have used Craftsman tools for over 40 years and my dad used them before me. Craftsman used to mean quality, not it should just be called Crapsman. Best bet, buy a decent sliding miter there are some really nice and accurate ones now and a table saw, or even a table saw alone and make a good sled. But don't waste your money on Craftsman.
I bought one of these to replace my old Craftsman R-A saw. Big mistake. This one is so sloppy you cannot cut a straight line with it. The rails are not straight. You can't even rip a straight board with it. At least the old one would cut reasonably straight. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. This saw is an incredible machine. It is one of the two most versatile tools in the workshop.

Once you learn it though, it will become one of the easiest tools to set up and operate and a pleasure doing so.
I also use this saw in cutting dados. And with the help of stop blocks, they're all placed exactly.
