I have a small kitchen that we are working on designing our remodel and I am wanting to open up half the wall just as you have. I was wondering if you could tell me how you changed the light brown flooring to the darker one? Ddid you tint it or replace it altogether? I am in love with your cabinets, and because of your gorgeous kitchen, hopefully using the same color…but I am wondering — how has the pain held up over the years to the wear and tear that a kitchen gets?

I cook a lot, and have small children, so I am nervous that my brand new beautiful kitchen is will get scratched, work and beat up fast! Your kitchen looks amazing! They look like they are nice quality. May I ask where you sourced your range hood?! I LOVE it. We are in escrow and have to overhaul our kitchen STAT and hitting the ground running. I think that solar shades are a great option for kitchens.
