If I'm going to be buying some new glue anyway see guys, I listen to you maybe it's time to try something else. If shelf life concerns you, the LMI is a bad choice; there's no manufactured date as it's a repackaged glue and it does have a short shelf life and goes "bad" quickly.
Have you considered hot hide glue? Apart from all the other benefits, it's also got the perfect shelf life; you make it up as you need it! The dry glue will last decades, and once mixed, if you refrigerate between uses, it will last a week, a month if you freeze between uses.
Just a suggestion. And if you live somewhere that the glue has even an off chance of freezing in transit shipping , forget ordering it until spring. It will degrade on its way to you, and you have no way of knowing how many freeze-thaw cycles it has gone through.
Nothing wrong with Tite bond , it has been used by the major manufacturers for years. I go through glue like a horse through hay but glue isn't that expensive. When it doubt do a test glue up or just get some new glue. I agree that you don't want to freeze tite bond.
