I'm not keen on the lever cap hole design as being a keyhole shape means it's prone to slipping up on the screw when retracting the blade. Stanley knew about this in when their kidney-shaped hole appeared. After a replacement iron and a couple of days of work, I've got a reasonable and flat No 7.
