Also since DuraSupreme did not honor their warranty to one of our customers I would make sure that the dealer you were buying from had a stellar reputation as the only reliable warranty you will get will be from the dealer.
Hi Katelyn, Both of these lines upgraded are good. Having the center recessed panel be MDF is a good idea but not the whole door. Fabuwood Fusion Blanc would be the best value. But if you like another color and style more you would have to determine if the price difference was worth the additional cost.

Bertch is a good cabinet. And a good Value. Upgrade to a plywood box and soft close doors and drawers. Reviews are pretty meaningless it our cabinet world. I would bet most of the bad Bertch reviews come from customers that bought Bertch vanities from Lowes and had no idea what they were buying and what properties to expect.

However Fabuwood is the best of the less expensive lines in my opinion. The only issue with Fabuwood is if the dealer you are buying from is not a good one. And Fabuwood does have some sketchy dealers especially around New York where they originated. They have become better screening dealers in more recent years. So Google the dealer and see what their reviews are like.

The value of your home is tied more to the design of the kitchen then the cabinet line. For example while Brighton is a great value and a well constructed line, if the designer at Cabinet Discounters is not very good, which would be quite likely, then you would be wasting money getting a more expensive custom line like Brighton.

We have this -strangely enough - only on 2 closet doors. The strangest thing makes no sense but yes a gray black film that does not wipe off easily. It's actually the 2 closets in our entry way- painted white with white trim.
Will think about the gasoline fix You really don't need much. Maybe you can get a small glass jar from someone. That would be enough for the lifetime of the doors for sure. Gasoline not a good idea. Dangerous poisonous fumes that that take some time to dissipate in a closed area. Clean the area as best u can. Clean sponges work. Rub hard. Then just paint over it. Take the door off and coat the hardware with beeswax to avoid any further soiling.
Worked for me. Some people say liquid dawn works in place of beeswax. I don't have too much trouble getting it off with fantastic and magic eraser but I don't know how to get it off rugs. It stains them and I'm concerned of how to remove it without making it worse. Buy a toilet wax ring in plumbing section of hardware store.
It's real purpose is to replace toilet to floor. Remove pin from door hinge then roll and rub the pin on wax ring to coat it with wax. Wipe away any wax excess from pin. Replace pin in hinge.

My home builder supt told me about this method. Try Houdini lock lube. It cleans locks very well for smooth operation and cleans graphite nicely. I made the mistake of spraying WF40 on hinges and paid for it. Take one hinge off door and clean area with a detergent.
Do one at a time completely. Clean the flat surface areas. Great stuff. Dry inside with a dry patch. Dry and assemble hinge and reinstall on door. If it does, add a DROP of dish detergent to top of hinge and let it work in.
