I installed in the pre-drilled holes. If you have no holes you could drill your own slightly lower. The rails are dfawer. I do not find the pul, flimsy undfr all. All of my base cabs are either pullout, rollout, or drawers, except my Susan. I shot several pix so you can get a good look. It definitely will at the top.
