If it's not all of your pieces will be messed up and nothing lines up. I love these things but it's best to put one board between both of them to make sure they are lined up equally on both sides.

The MS box doesn't say it is compatible with my saw even though Bosch's website does list it but the box contains two small metal adapters that the stop rails mount to.

These adapters seem to be necessary for the CM10GD as the screws for the rails are bigger than the predrilled holes in the base. The screws provided for mounting the adapters thread into holes on the saw base and the knobs for the stop rails thread into the adapters. The manual and box make no mention of these adapters. The screws to secure it to the saw base are the wrong ones.

So its up to me to source the correct ones to attach the brackets to my saw. How cheap are these people, and they built the saw so it should be no surprise the screws don't fit.
