The spaces between the teeth of the Super-Skip blade are wider than the normal skip-tooth configuration. This enables the blade to cut very quickly, leaving a smooth finish. Double tooth blades contain sets of closely pitched teeth that aid in producing a fine finish and the skip adds the benefit of effective chip removal.

Work thicknesses and materials are similar to regular skip blades. The Pegas Super-Hook blade was developed for efficient cutting of thick hardwoods. I use to like the flying dutchman brand - but they dropped my favorite blade because it was not popular - they told me another blade was better for the purpose I needed it for - He even told me i was wrong.

Honestly one saw hates pegas another loves them -same with Olson blades - I would tell you at this moment my favorite brand is Pegas - tomorrow - who knows!
