Please try again later. This fence has a design flaw right out of the box. The four bolts that hold the fence to the adjuster head are too short and strip the threads in the soft aluminum. I was able to remedy this by grinding down longer bolts to replace the ones supplied but really that is ridiculous to have to do. There is no way to hold the bolts that adjust the fence faces so even though they use a wing nut you still need a screwdriver to adjust them.

The adjuster paddle is VERY stiff so every time you unlock it the fence jumps out of alignment. And the lock down mechanism on the other end is a cheesy plastic cam action piece. It is almost impossible to make fine adjustments with the way the locking devices work and in fact it's hard to just align the fence with a bearing guided bit since the locking lever is so stiff.

Wish I'd payed a little more and got the Jessem fence and table. I ended up getting the Jessem lift anyhow and had to modify the plate mounting hardware on the Kreg table to make it fit. Well, live and learn. Had reservations about buying this tool due to the expense versus how much I would use it I don't do enough woodworking to necessarily warrant the cost.

Was I glad I took the plunge! Took on a job building toy storage shelf units out of birch plywood for a local pre-k school. This table paid for itself immediately.

The result I was able to achieve was easy, quick, precise, and wonderful! I'm no expert at all but this tool gave me renewed confidence in what abilities I do possess. I was almost sad that I finished the project and had to stop building. Now I have some ideas that I would never attempt without this tool that I can't wait to try!

Solid made router fence with a lot of thought put into it. Easy to use, easy to adjust, the slotted channels are great for attaching accessories to. It could have been better IMHO.

There are screws through the face of the fence with adjustment handles on the back so you can set the opening for the router bit. When you adjust the opening, when you go to tighten the handles back down you either need to put your finger on the screw head or get a screw driver to tighten it back down. I feel like they would have been better with bolt heads that don't spin or a different fastening method.

The vacuum port seems to come off way too easily but better that than it break off I guess easy fix by attaching the hose to something solid so it doesn't pull. It also would have been a plus if they fence had a place to put accessories you don't want to lose like the router starter pin for free hand work, maybe the extra collets and other small parts. The only other thing that I can think of that could be improved would be the plastic micro adjuster.
