A coat of polyurethane will help to give the adhesive tape a smooth mounting surface.

I used a router to clear out enough material for the Kreg jig to fit snugly into place but you can also use a dado stack on the table saw it if you feel more comfortable doing that.

Using a square, make sure that the Kreg Jig is square to the assembly. Time to add the t-track on the top material supports. I line them up about an inch back from the face of the drill guide. They are used for homemade or store bought stops when there is a need to make repeatable holes and specific measurements. Better than not having it attached at all. I have plans for the workstation on my website. Nice build Although I find it kind of ironic that you built a pocket hole workstation without using pocket holes I needed the workstation to make the workstation, what a catch 22 lol.
