Hi, Guest Login Register. Pages: [ 1 ] Go Down. Author Topic: Festool cms ts 75 - miteg to square with miter gauge and sliding table Read times. Good morning. I have a big unresolved problem in my cs ts 75 table saw. I made a lot of setup but, miter gauge storage 75 the end, I am not able to square panel big or small from the sliding table and miter gauge. The miter gauge is well tuning when It is linked to the fixed table at 90 degrees or zero degrees but when I use the same setup of the miter gauge in the sliding table I am not in the condition to have a miter gauge storage 75 part.

I tried to change the inclination of the rail, setup of the sliding table with the screws but the situation is unstable and always the same problem:no perpendicular faces. Anyone has a suggestion or a video tutorial to follow for step by step setup? Wrong or how you set up your saw or how you did miter gauge storage 75 initial squaring of the fence on the sliding table to the blade.

Have you don't the 5 miteer method to try to square up the fence and mitsr blade? You can do a search here and find how to use that method. I have problem with the sliding fence. I am not able to perform a 90 degrees cut when I use sliding table and miter fence together. I dont have that problem with mine.

Have you called festool service? Sounds like the TS insert is not perpendicular to mitfr slider. Do miger have a square that you can check against the protractor and fence on the sliding table? Sometimes, mine is 1deg off or so and I will have to pull the detent pin up, turn it deg and then adjust and lock miter gauge storage 75 fence.

If that doesn't work, then the slider isn't attached correctly or the inset is not in properly. I have never had those issues, but try the above items to get to a five cut test. Take a few pics if you can and also let me know how far miter gauge storage 75 90deg it is.

Gregor Posts: Miter gauge storage 75 might be that the rail of the sliding table isn't parallel to the blade. This can storag be because the saw isn't set correctly into the CMS plate which is what you should check first by measuring both edges of the blade to the long edge of the plateif that isn't the issue then the rail itself could be off.

Mine had initially some play at the left hand side where the rail ended which stemmed from the plasting holder that sits in the v-grove having play, as I didn't install it correctly the first time I didn't hold the rail down firmly enough, so the V didn't sat flush in the groove. I thought it was that it was a second-hand one, so I took it apart to look for worn pieces - but after reassembly it was OK, I couldn't move it anymore toward and from the CMS, which before I had possible play of 1mm or so.

I would try: loosen both screws of the rail a little so you can move it slightly, hold it down hard on the side where the end is connected to the CMS-GE, tighten that screw, hold it down on the middle, tighten that screw.

Then check that the sled rail cant move latheral, if that's good attach the protractor to the sled and see that it moves parallel to the blade. When using miter gauge storage 75 protractor fence on the sled as the reference edge: square it to the blade prior cutting.

Please have a look at the video. Quote from: blackholesun on March 25,PM. JakobProgsch Posts: You can also slightly adjust the orientation of the table part of the sliding table. There are screws on the bottom of the table for that.

This seems more likely from the description than the whole slider storqge out of alignment. Or at least if the slider were out of alignment I would assume the issue would be more sever than angles being off since it would push the stock sideways into the blade.
