The sawdust looking substance around the red reset button is a felt washer. I do not know the full extent of use on this motor but I got it from a shipping department who used it to cut cardboard corners for crating. It has been in my possession for about 4yrs since I converted the saw to another function and have no use for this motor. I am told the newer Delta motors do not compare to the older American made ones.
Used but in good condition. This item is in good condition with some minor cosmetic wear from normal use. There are some scuff marks and scratches on the item but this does not effect the functionality of the item.
