It could use a little cleaning as it has sat on my father's workbench for many many years. The vise is very heavy, weighing about 45 pounds on my scale my scale has been wrong before, so give or take a couple pounds The vise jaws open up to about 6 inches see Picture 10 and the jaws themselves are about 5 inches wide.
