So glad i did it takes steel down very fast its a powerful little machine i bought it 8 months ago the belt that came with it is still on it and going strong i use it most days id be lost without it , i did buy15 aluminium oxide belts with it for metal but not used 1 of them yet its a-bit more than a hobby machine it will go all day long no problem if your building a small workshop n you need to save space you will love it for wood and all metals Date published: ScrewFix tripped over themselves and it was exchanged within two day and delivered to home.

I took the new one out of the box the it arrived and has hardly been back in it since. It works perfect and have used it for trimming polished aluminium trim as well as timber to get perfect fits.

On the negative side, it was a bit tricky to set the table at 90 degrees on the disc side, but I did manage it in the end.

Also, the mitre fence is a little flimsy and very loose in the slot - the latter issue was sorted completely by sticking a few strips of electrical tape on the sides of the runners - zero play now. Does this have an AC or DC motor?

This is a solidly built item that gives gives a good quality finish. Heavy weight gives good stability and better control of the work piece.

It's feels substantial and, I think, will be well worth the money. There are one or two design features that could be improved slightly. But; ain't there always?
