The dust cover on the power switch is a little stiff out of the box, but should soften with use. The blower works fine. The dust chute on the saw is difficult to access without it. For permanent installations where the dust tube is always attached, it is unnecessary. But for those of us with limited space and use the mobility add on, it makes connecting the hose easy to do.

This is a nice add on to the saw. Went on without issue. The hose connects perfectly. Not a necessity - just a nice to have - you could connect a dust collection hose directly, but this just tidy's things up.
